Design & Layout.

After the planning process is complete, the physical layer cable plant is specified and detailed. This includes:

· Network topologies
· Cable routing and lengths
· Materials
· Bridges, routers, gateways, and LAN hardware
· Test procedures
· CAD drawings

AutoCad/Documentation

SAIA Communications realizes the need for professional documentation in order to
accurately maintain a new cable plant installation. We offer complete CAD
services to our customers. This is an important tool in both pre-installation
and as-built documentation. SAIA Communications uses AutoCad 2000 and an
extensive combination of scanners, digitizers (up to "E' size), and plotters to produce a documentation package that will accurately reflect your current and future cable infrastructure.

SAIA Communications has it's own in-house RCDD who is responsible for the detailed design of new systems and/or the integration of a design into an existing.  An RCDD is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer who has attained the status of exceptional excellence in the field. The RCDD designation is recognized industry-wide as indicating superior design expertise. Active RCDDs have continuous access to the latest information in the telecommunications design industry. By virtue of the status of active RCDD, the professional knows the way around the maze of the ever-changing world of industry codes and regulations.
